In last nights dream, I’m standing in this back auditorium room of a church and I am talking with an elder. At which point one of the Pastor’s comes up and asks if I’d like to join them and pray with them for the Church. We pray, and then individually find a spot to pray independently, as we are joined as one in prayer. We are praying primarily for the people within the Church Family, that we all may be one, as Jesus and our Heavenly Father are one. That we may see right through every attempt from the enemy to deceive and divide, that we may stand strong united as one body, the Church.
21 that they may all be one, just as you, Father, are in me, and I in you, that they also may be in us, so that the world may believe that you have sent me.
Have you ever experienced tension with your brother or sister in Christ or even perhaps another congregation?
May the Church know the truth, that person or those people who you feel tension with – God loves them. They are God’s children and you too are his Child. He wants his kids to have a good relationship. When others rub you the wrong way, pray a blessing for them. Also pray that you may see that person as the Lord Jesus sees that person. Love them. And never gossip or say bad things about your sibs. And never ever put down another congregation “another church”. To put down another Church is putting down the bride of Christ. Would you put down any bride in front of their husband? What if that husband is Jesus himself? The devil loves it and it should be no suprise that this kind of behavior comes from a place of pride. We who have put our faith in Jesus, we are the Church!
God loves a repenting, believing Church!
Consider this for a moment. What if every time the enemy came to cause tension between you and your family in Christ, you prayed blessing for that person or people – while at the same time drawing closer to God yourself. At some point the devil would consider stirring the pot to be counter-productive. At some point he’d be like, “forget it, every time I try to touch them they grow closer to Him, and each other.” What if we as Believers did that through every type of temptation and struggle, seeked God that much more fervently and loved eachother. That’s when chains are broken. May the chains be broken in the Church in Jesus name. May we through stuggle and strife seek God for eyes that see, and hearts that are more aligned with his. May spiritual blindness be gone in Jesus name! Me too God – Help me see like you! Help us all see more like you.
Thank you Jesus for loving us, your Church.
1 Therefore be imitators of God, as beloved children. 2 And walk in love, as Christ loved us and gave himself up for us, a fragrant offering and sacrifice to God.
