Who is the Lord that I should listen to him? This question was asked by Pharaoh, an Egyptian ruler. And this question is still asked today. Sometimes without being literally asked. What I mean is, we all know about those who choose to live in the world or decide on alternative focus. I ask myself, “If they were to ask me the who and the why, what would be my answer?”

Day 1:
God is all-knowing, ever present and all-powerful. God, the creator of the universe knows every detail about my life. Actually, he knows every detail about his creation.

Matthew 10:29-31
29 What is the price of two sparrows – one copper coin*? But not a single sparrow can fall to the ground without your Father knowing it. 30 And the very hairs on your head are numbered.. 31 So don’t be afraid; you are more valuable to God than a whole flock of sparrows.

Personal Thoughts:
I just think, this not only expresses the true all-knowing, all present power of God, it also gives so much confidence in that I can continue giving more of myself to God, in all avenues, without fear of what might happen. Because he knows everything. He won’t let me fall, and when a situation makes me think he has, I’ll be prayerful and consider the idea the perhaps this all fits according to his plan.

Day 2: God is Holy
God’s incomparable holiness merits our worship.

Worship: A sincere expression of reverence and devotion toward God. Worship can take place through singing songs of praise, praying, and meditating upon God’s word.

Revelation 15:2-4
2. I saw before me what seemed to be a glass sea mixed with fire. And on it stood all the people who were victorious over the beast and his statue and the number representing his name. They were all holding harps that God had given them. And they were singing the song of Moses, the servant of God, and the song of the Lamb:

Great and Marvelous are your works,
O Lord God, The Almighty.
Just and True are your ways,
O King of the Nations.*

Personal Thoughts:
God has done, does and will do so much for us. He’s created the place for us to live, gives us everything we need, he’s faithful to forgive and meets us where we are. He’s sent his son Jesus to teach us his ways and then Jesus went to the cross to take on all the sins of this world for you and me. Furthermore he’s with us even today and will be with us during the days of judgment. With God with me, I know I will be victorious over the devils schemes, and if the day of judgment occur while I’m alive, with God’s grace and Jesus with me I’ll be standing their with the body of believers holding a harp, ready to worship.

Day 3: God is Loving and Just
God’s justice is tempered by his love.
